Yes, it been a while now. I’m still trying to organize my very short supply of free time and blogging is one of those things that keeps getting pushed back.
This lack of spare time is not helped by the fact that for the past two months I have been taking a post work hours course […]

A lazy Friday night with nothing special to do provided me with the perfect opportunity to go ahead and install the latest Ubuntu spawn. Upgrading from Dapper Drake was as hard as typing:
sudo update-manager -c
in a console, wait around for about an hour and then reboot the computer.
It was that easy. Man, I miss the […]
Just another lazy friday night. The second round of antibiotics seems to be having some success in its mission to annihilate the weird throat infection that’s been pestering me for the last three weeks, and so there’s a little bit of energy to spend playing around with my personal zoo of code. This time it’s […]
I’ve known for a couple of months now that de.lirio.us is closing down and moving its users’ data over to Simpy. It’s sad, really, because although it had less features than its other Web 2.0 bookmark keeping siblings, de.lirio.us had a great link stream, almost thematic in it’s overall geekiness, and above all, it was […]

Just grabbed the developer’s preview of Flock, a tricked up Firefox with all the goodies you would expect from a Web 2.0 aware browser: integrated blogging, tagging, social bookmarking and flickr. It’s still a bit rough around the edges, but it already shows a lot of potencial (I’m editing this post on Flock’s neat integrated blog […]

Seems that Gnome 2.12 is out and will be making it’s way into Breezy Badger Real Soon Now(tm).
So I’ll be spending the next few days upgrading the Ubuntu Linux distro on my desktop to try out all the latest goodies. I guess it’s about time I try Debian’s famous dist-upgrade superpowers.
I’ll let you […]

I’ve been spending some time lately playing with Transcend and I find it’s gameplay extremely intriguing.
Your goal in the game is to gather objects around the levels and use them to create an audiovisual collage near the center in order to power up your ship so that you can destroy the other ships and pass […]
